She comes to SPRF following her graduation from NYU Law School with an LLM, where she wrote for the Journal of Law and Business and worked as a research assistant on banking and bankruptcy issues. Previously, Luiza worked at a boutique firm in Rio de Janeiro led by a former CVM commissioner, where she handled high-stakes corporate litigation issues as well as regulatory matters including investment funds and securities registration. Luiza began her legal career as an intern at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). Luiza holds an LL.B from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and is a member of the Capital Markets Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
