​She has been the lead associate in numerous high-stakes litigations, and helped secure favorable federal jury trial verdicts for her clients. She has experience in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals, both before a court and the USPTO in trademark opposition proceedings.

Silvia has worked in a large international law firm and a small boutique, serving clients that range from sole proprietors to prominent multinational corporations. Prior to joining Scoolidge Peters Russotti & Fox LLP, Silvia was part of a trial team that obtained a jury verdict in a patent infringement suit against one of the world’s largest technology companies, which resulted in a treble damages award of over $20 million. Silvia was named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine in 2017.

Silvia attended the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she co-founded and lead the university’s mock trial team. She graduated summa cum laude from New York Law School. During law school, Silvia was a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Conway Casey of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. For several years, as her pro bono work, Silvia coached mock trial teams in New York City public high and junior high schools for regional competitions. She is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Third Circuit.
